Girl goes to Hollywood, falls for a fellow struggling actress. When the career of the lover takes off, girl is strung along like a remora fish in her ex-lover's wake but eventually her obsessive behavior leads to the ex-lover publicly humiliating her and dumping her. Distraught, she arranges a hit on her ex-lover, and is led to believe it has been successful. Even more distraught, she dreams of an alternative reality where she is the roaring success and her ex is dependent on her. General head-messiness makes the dream turn sour. She wakes up, remembers what she has done, and as loud knocks are heard on her door (police?) she kills herself.
Every strange element during the dream sequence (blue box, scary man...) are a product of the mind...you dream with weird things right?Did anyone understand the movie "Mulholland Drive"?

It was a great movie, I suggest that you just borrow it %26amp; watch it yourself. If you don't want to/ can't/ don't have time then go to rotten tomatoes, you should get some idea what the movie was all about.
