'Grounhog Day' movie - amnesia?

What is the similarity with the behaviour presented in this movie to people who suffer dementia or amnesia?'Grounhog Day' movie - amnesia?
Bill Murray was the only one in the movie that was aware that he was living the same day over and over and over ........ The rest of the world must have had amnesia not to remember the events that took place and that they were living the same day over again.
The early symptoms of dementia can include:

Language problems, such as trouble finding the name of familiar objects
Misplacing items
Getting lost on familiar routes
Personality changes and loss of social skills
Losing interest in things you previously enjoyed, flat mood
Difficulty performing tasks that take some thought, but that used to come easily, such as balancing a checkbook, playing games (such as bridge), and learning new information or routines

I would not consider dementia as an issue unless someone was suffering from it before groundhog day.

The basic concept of the movie was that all the laws of the universe was changed just to punish Bill Murray because he was such a$$. A person thinking that everyone on earth and god has conspired to teach him a lesson a bigger issue. Extreme paranoia,,... but is it paranoia if everyone is really out to get you????
Groundhog Day was more deja vu. If you want amnesia/ demensia, try 50 First Dates because it relates more to the question. I was concidering for a minute if you were refering to everyone having amnesia then i realised that it could only be deja vu because remember the main character kills himself towards the end and he always ends up in his normal bed the next day?

I think you will need to reask this question concidering this answer i provided.'Grounhog Day' movie - amnesia?
What behaviour do dementia and amnesia victims present? I forget.
I don't remember.'Grounhog Day' movie - amnesia?
